Well after a month of thinking i decided that the gm soft tonneau cover was the way to go.

Prices locally and from a buddy were $299+

Found a place that was selling for $330 something.  Got them to sell it for $269 (like the gm accessory book says).

Should have it in 7-10 days

(oh yea still no seat covers)

I made a tent with mine.  A post in each corner.  One side taller than the other.  I then used a roll of mesh screen that is draped from the cover around the top edge of the bed.  Then I put an air mattress in the bed.  I also have a 12V fan that I can attach to the tall post for the really calm nights when I need my own personal breeze.

It isn't the prettiest thing, but it was crafty and only cost $30.  (the fan was $20)

If I didn't need to have larger lockable storage, I would have a soft cover on my truck too Ryan.  I think for all your purposes, you made the right choice!!!

It's about time you decided Ryan!!! ;)  I think you made a good choice, that's what I'm getting on my pickup when I get it.  My sister-in-law had a Extang on her Ranger :but: and it was great

Ryan, this is plain jane soft tonneau right?  I just had the folding tonneau cover priced out and it lists at about 800 bucks.  I like the versatility of the folding and locking panels, but that price is pretty steep.

mine is the soft cover with the bowtie

Good choice.  I like mine.  The only thing is, if you really want to see the bowtie, you'll need to fill it in with some color.  I didn't do that to mine, but some might do this to make it stand out more.  I've been VERY happy with the snapless cover.  :)

Ryan...ya need to go ahead and get the leather too!

I still like the Classic Soft Trim package I put in mine.

Definitely recommend it!
