New Member Saying Hello

I have been browsing for a little over a week now. Figured I might as well make a post. I purchased my truck 2 weeks ago. It's a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT Z71. Loaded with options: Heated seats, leather, heated mirrors, etc.

 

I purchased the truck for 13k, with 90k miles at a dealer about an hour away. Actually stumbled on the truck out of the blue. I was on my way to look at a F150 when I saw it sitting on a little corner lot. I've always been a Chevy guy but it seemed I couldn't find any fullsizes in my price range.

 

I love the truck so far. Drinks gas about as much as I expected. The truck came with a couple goodies. Brush guard, nerf bars, and dual exhaust. The only thing that I have found somewhat problematic with the truck is the AC doesn't always come on cold. If it turn it off and on a few times I can usually get it to start blowing cold. I'm guessing the compressor is going out. Anyhow I look forward to getting to know you all.

Just thought of some other useless info I could put up. Before owning this truck I owned a 99 Pontiac Trans Am WS.6, and a 02 Chevy Camaro SS. So I have lots of faith in bowties. Also I primarily bought the truck to tote my toy around. 2005 Kawasaki Brute Force 750i. It's tires are almost as big as the one's on my truck. lol. 28's.

The tires on the truck....Bridgestone Dueler AT's....they make an AT and they make an AT Revo which has a more aggressive tread...I happen to have the Revo, thus my commentary on it. The "Revo" would be in black letters beside the "AT" on the sidewall.
