Tire Dressing

I have been using Armor All Tire Foam for years. But since I bought my Z71, I have noticed that the residue from the Tire foam has really began to "gunk" up at the point where the sidewall meets the tread. I was wondered what ya'll used to clean your tires and what type of "shining" product ya'll use.

I use a tire dressing from Turtle Wax - dont remember the name but it is in a green bottle, like everything else from Turle Wax.  It is a gel that you put on with a spong and this way you dont have the over spray problem.  It also seems to last a descent amount of time.  Just my 2 cents.

However after time it starts to gunk up on the sidewall

 

I didnt apply any over the winter and it got most of it off

Aero 303.  I doesn't give the wet look but rather a nice factory looking kind of black.

I use the Eagle Wheel Wet for dressing, and the Armor All tire foam for cleaning.

I use the Westley's Bleach White and follow with Black Magic Tire Wet (might be Eagle One brand).  

BTW- have ya'll seen the black magic tire dressing with the colored flecks in it.  You spray it on the tire and it gives off a reddish gleem.  It also comes in blue, and green.  Now I can match my Mad Tyte tires to my LED windshield washers, blue lights in the clear lenses, underbody neon, and my lighted tailpipe.

I normally use Wesley's Bleach White to remove the residue and follow up with Eagle 1 Wet.

I use both the Armor All Tire Foam and the Eagle One Black Magie Tire Wet....just depends on my mood and what I grab

I don't know if this applies to anyone but some tire manufacturers are voiding warranty if armor all is used on the sidewalls of the tires. Our local Bridgestone rep has denied warranty on several tires that armour all has been applied to.

I use westley's Bleche-white Foaming tire cleaner.  It shines for about a day or so and then leaves a deep Black color on the tire.  I don't like shiny tires, and this stuff seems to clean them and then settle into a rather long-lasting color.  And a big plus it's the cheapest stuff at Walmart!!!

followed up by eagle 1 tire wet or turtlewax wet and black

 

i used to use black magic on my old cars and trucks but slung like a bit(h and got all over the paint.

thats when i found the eagle one tire wet, nice deep wet shine

I use Castrol super clean tire gloss. I is the best product I have used yet. I last long , doesnt build up and looks great. I have been asked many time what kind of tire dressing I use. Check it out.
