Part Question

2001 Z71...I beleive that all of the trucks have the short black plastic piece that runs just above each side of the back glass and curves just slightly to the roof...I was washing my truck and noticed that both of mine were barely hanging on so I removed them and cleaned them up..I have some 3M double sided tape and for some reason it isnt wanting to stick to the plastic molding..the surface is clean and I even cleaned with some alcohol to get a better bond but that didnt help...does anyone know the part number for this molding and where would be the CHEAPEST place that i can pick 2 pieces up at?? and what do they usually run... Maybe what you really need is 3M moulding adhesive tape, which can be purchased at any auto parts store for about 5 bucks. It's way sticky.

Double sided tape won't do much for that purpose. Buy some 3M weatherstrip adhesive.
