fuel problem

'06 silverado 1500hd.... whenever i gas up, the automatic feature of the gas pump clicks and shuts off. it doesen't matter if it's set on fast or slow fillup. the only way i can have it fill automatically is to hold the gas nozzle on an angle towards the bed. if i let it go the nozzle will swing back to being perpendicular to the truck, the it clicks off again... this is a pain in the...... should i complain to the dealer when it goes in for it's first oil change? except for this(so far) i love the truck....thx, jim

I'd have them look at it. It should not click off on a fast fill let alone a slow fill. The tank may not be venting properly.
