Question
2001-Z71
It started many months ago. The Flex Fuel sensor threw a code and was replaced. Before this the truck began to need a few extra cranks of the ignition in order to start. The fuel pressure reg. was replaced and finally the fuel pump. The problem still exists and appears to be getting worse. It has never failed to start but does need approx. 3-5 seconds of cranking to get it to start most of the time...but when it does start it does not seem very convincing...I know that sounds stupid but the start appears very forced. Could it be a crank sensor going out?
Thanks,
Sean
