Ever  sence I bought my 2002exc when I put it in gear it makes a pinging noise .It sounds like ujoint noise I'm not sure.My truck only has 8000 miles on it,if this is a ujoint problem would it be covered under warranty? If this is normal for these trucks please let me know.Thanks

It's hard to grasp what you are describiing...  It certainly would be covered under warranty if it was driveline related, so I'd take it to the dealer.

Mine had a pinging noise when it was in gear for a few days. Then the carrier bearing failed and wiped out the tranny.

I didn't even think of that!!!  I hate 2-piece drive shafts...  :angry:
