Intimidator SS vs Rumble Bee

I drive an Initimidator SS (extended cab) and I have a buddy with a single cab, short bed, Rumble Bee with the 5.7 Hemi. He says it makes the same 345 hp that my truck makes, but his weighs less. What are the odds that I take him, once the race happens I will keep you posted.

To tell you the truth you both weight about the same so i would say you win because the ss engine and transmission is way ahead of dodge. Even the dodge guys think you could still win.

They make such a big deal over the Hemi. In fact it is'nt really a hemi anyway, To be a Hemi it needs to have hemispherical heads which they do not. The "Hemi's" today have a "Penta" head which to tell the truth is actually from all reports a more efficient design than the Hemi. But the reason Dodge calls them a Hemi is because they own the name and the name Hemi has broad name reconition.

When a Hemi is not a Hemi

 

 

Now in regards to wether you will beat them in a 1/4 mile race? I think it is going to come down to who has the more experiance and luck.

Well I've beaten two SS silverados, and I have been beaten twice also by SS silverados in my Hemi 4x4 ram.

 

But since yours is just rear wheel drive that will help, but then again he is a reg cab, which weighs about as much as you do.

 

I guess it will come down to the better driver.

I'm a GM guy just like everyone here..but I'm gonna have to take the Ram.

 

According to Edmunds, the SS is 4947lbs vs. the Rams 4719. Couple hundred pounds could be the difference.

The SSS should win. The 06's have less torque management and if driven right you should be able to hand him his ass pretty well.

 

 

The Intimidator SS is an 06', there is no way to even get an 06' SSS in awd. They are 2wd only.
