Changing Gears?

hey guys ok so my friend has a 04 silverado and we raced yesterday and he started to pull on me big pretty much simular set up but he has a 6 inch with 35s hes running 4.11s and i have the 3.73 or 6 how hard is it to replace the gears and do i have to do it to the front and around how much thanks

Not sure about the actual process, i know its not easy and you need some pretty big shop tools, but i do know that you HAVE TO match the front and the rear without questions

Need a bearing puller and shop press at a minimum. Its a total pain in the ass to do. Theres a reason shopes charge $2000+
