94 Silverado "clunk"...

I'm gettin' a "clunking" noise from underneath when I stop and start sometimes...not always but, alot more than I like.

I know the newer Chevys had some problems with the spline and having to grease the shaft to eliminate the problem but, this just started about a year or so ago. Not super bad....just annoying. Any ideas where to start?

I would lube you drive shaft splines before I did anything else. If that fixes it, maybe do a trans flush. If it is a 2WD. If it is a 4WD change the transfer case fluid.

If your truck has a locking rear it could be that too. Change rear end lube and be sure to add friction modifier if you have a locking rear.

No locking rear and all U-joints and carrier bearing was replaced.
