smaug6 Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 I have an 02 Yukon SLT I bought used. She has 75K and has developed a problem recently that is intermittant. Sometimes at low speed there will be a chatter sound and slight judder of the vehicle at low speed takeoff <5 mph. It seems this noise come from beneath the vehicle possibly the front?!?! It is not very loud and has a small effect on the vehicle dynamics. I have read the threads on antilock brake sensor issues and will attempt this repair this weekend but would like to know if anyone has had this problem as well and what was their solution. BTW I recently had the front brakes relined, and my wife ran into a parked car pulling into a spot while I was in the car which would seem to be the ABS issue. I don't remember hearing the chatter but I have three kids chattering constantly so maybe this is what happened.
mf66 Posted June 20, 2006 Posted June 20, 2006 Upon take-off, a bad U-joint will do the same thing. Check them out. Good luck. Mike
