Beer Belly

Question

Posted

Had to change my Avatar, traded my '04 2500HD for an '06 1500  .....the 1500 has Flex-Fuel, the salesman reccomended not to mess with it....sez it's not worth filling the tank with it....naturally, if I get a chance, I'll try it. Any other warnings from you Tech guys ?.....should I just stay away from it till it's more widely available ?....any known problems ?

Well, Unleaded gas may be going the way of the Dodo bird...But I'd still stay away from the Corn juice as long as possible.

my girlfriends brother works for a chevy dealer and he said that they have been getting a few trucks coming in with problems due to running E85. I don't know exactly what the problem is but he told me not to use it. plus as much as I drive losing 2 or more miles to the gallon is a big deal so I wasn't planning on using it anyway.
