Center Console Install

Well my prayers have been answered, JP Customs came out with a kit to install a center console in a non center console truck, Including the ever elusive Glove Box Trim piece. I will be ordering one as soon as i get the cash.

You gotta be on crack dude. I bought mine on ebay for $200 with the bose radio, amp, wiring harness, etc

I know its expensive but i still havn't been able to track down the replacement glovebox trim on ebay

You might consider emailing some of the folks selling consoles on ebay and asking if they have that trim piece. Most of them are parting out complete vehicles, so they probably do.

My truck is an LT1 model. $ 3k more would have gotten me an LT3. Spending almost $ 2k on a center console would be way too much.

LT1 has the basic LT trim such as power windows, locks, cruise, tilt, rear window defroster, leather wrapped steering wheel, alarm, self dimming rear view mirror, body side mouldings, and keyless entry.

LT2 adds over LT1: automatic A/C, fog lights, bucket seats with driver side power seat, center console, Bose stereo.

LT3 adds over LT2: turn signal outside mirrors, leather heated seats, 10 way front power seats on both sides, aluminum wheels, and redundant radio controls (DIC button steering wheel).

Other equipment, such as XM radio, On star, sunroof and rear DVD player are optional on ALL models.

I have both pieces available the console and the glove box in the dark pewter I would sell for much less... I just have to figure out how to ship the colsole....
