What to do at 90,000 miles

I just picked up a 2004 EXT Cab Long Bed 2500HD 6.0L 4x4 L80E Tranny for 18,000. Its got 90,000 miles on it, but it runs great and is immaculate. Im gunna put all synthetics in it and change the o2 sensors. What else should i do to get it in like new condition? Seafoam? Tranny Filter? PCV? What should i change out or check? What has gone bad on yalls trucks around the 100,000 mile range? Just lookin for suggestions.

It's kinda hard getting a used one because you never know what needs to be done. I think the best option is to do it all anyway. Your idea of Seafoam is good. I haven't done mine yet, but it's prob a good idea for you to do yours before changing everything else. That way if it gets in the oil or fouls plugs, you'll change them anyway.

So I'd say Seafoam, then change all fluids. Engine oil, front and rear diffs, t-case, tranny and filter, and the coolant. O2's should be fine, but wouldn't hurt to replace. I have 103k on mine. Fuel filter, PCV valve, check air cleaner. Then jack up the front and check the balljoints, tie rods, pitman, and idler. Then give it a good greasing and call it done.

Yeah, that pretty much what I had planned. Seafoam the old gal and put synthetics in her. Anyone else got any ideas on what to check? What are some of the common problems you guys have? This is my first silverado.

Put gas in the old girl and drive it like you stole it!!!!! Like you said change the fluids and get after it. My poor old 99 just turned over 120000 pulling a 28 ft trailer to NC for my son. If it aint broke don't fix it. :)
