noobie at waxing

well i want to wax my truck but i have absolutely no idea how to do it past "Wax on, wax off" an instruction sheet would help.

Just make sure you clean the vehicle well. After that, many things will work well and there is a constant argument over what works best. IMO, what works best is that you reapply a polish every other time you wash and use a good car soap that won't strip the wax off. Almost any "Car Wash" soap will work.

 

Second, most of your waxes are out dated. IMO, Now, a good polish is all you need because most of them have all the ingrediants to protect. Zaino and Poor Boy seems to be the major ones that people claim to be the best now. Just find a good paint sealer by them.

Good advice.

 

Except upon further research you'll find that polishes and waxes are a little different. I recently clayed my truck and went through the "3 step process". 1) Clay 2) Polish 3) Wax.

 

A Polish won't bring out shine as much like a wax will, but its great for paint sealing and filling light scratches.
