1. Is there any fix for these crappy brakes? I have an 04 silverado ext cab 4x4. I really noticed yesterday how bad they are when I was cruising down the road at @ 45-50mph, when this kids football cmae flying into the street. I slammed them on, and was like holy s@#!, these MF's suck, it was very disheartening. Do they make larger size rotors or calipers or something?

 

2. I just ordered a wait4me tune, do I need to disconnect the battery to install? And what happens to all the info that I have now on my DIC. specifically the hourmeter. For some odd reason I like to look at the hourmeter on occassion.
