Hey all...I live in Tehachapi Ca. which is about a 1 1/2 hour drive north of LA at about 4000 ft. Very southern tip of the Sierra's. Anyway I have owned my Sierra since I bought it brand new in 87 and am planning on buying a new Chevy/GMC hopefully in the next year. Haven't decided on which yet though. Hoping to find some info on any deals that GMAC might be trying to lure us buyers in with this summer. Anyone hear any rumors? Anyway glad to be a member. :cheers:

Well I just drove through Tehachapi on Sat., on my way back home to Tulsa OK. from Bakersfield. Had an old friend get married and decided to go back home there and see him tie the knot. Also went out to Pismo, and Morro Bay, and then down on to see a Dodger game.

My G-pa lives off of Tehachapi Mt. Park St. with an awesome view of Tehachapi. Great little town.

Oh yeah...I rolled a Jeep up in them thar hills. :chevy:

Sounds like a good trip. Hope you got home safe. yeah it's a cool little town that's trying to grow up to be a city, which I am very much against. New houses everywhere. Ty for the warm welcome everyone. Wingnut...you'd had better luck in the local bars finding the Saquatch. I swear I've seen her in there a few times :)

Welcome - good luck on a new truck purchase - with the all new one coming out there are great deals to be had right now.
