96 sierra no start

hello all! help needed

i have 96 sierra 4wd 5.7vortec and have had new wires plugs cap rotor and fuel pump in last 6 months. ran great no problems or codes.

while driving at 60 mph engine shut down. all gauges and other elect systems check out fine. no fuel to injectors with good fuel pressure.

snap on scanner shows no problems, except no pulse to injectors and to check security system. this truck has no security system, that i know of.

have had truck for about 2 years, no problems runs great.good power,

compression,and fire. has the csfi fuel system. sometimes i can prime it with a little 2cycle gas and get a short idle but no run

I think i have checked all grounds and connectors. was told i had a bad ecm

and tried another ecm with no luck. had to cross check numbers to make sure this one should work .

bin on it for over a week, gm garage is next stop

Most probable cause is a passlock sensor. It is what the lock cyl mounts into. You need to take it to a GM dealer. After it is replaced it will have to have the theft relearn done. Do not waste your time and money at an independent.
