Instrument cluster replacement...

If you replace the instrument cluster from a 1500 with stock 265 tires with a new transmission temp guage cluster from a 2500/3500 will it be necesary to get the new one calibrated for the correct tire size, or do the computer systems on the truck take care of this automatically??

I would think it is stored in the computer and you wouldnt have to make any mods to it

Should not be any problem plus you get the tranny temp as a bonus.

Thanks guys.  I cracked the lens in the stock cluster so I ordered a new one.  Figured I might as well get the 2500/3500 cluster so I could have a transmission temp guage.  Should be here on Monday.  I'm not going to bother having the odometer transferred-going to use the door sticker instead. :lookaround:
