2007 Chevy Silverado video

I found this promotional video of the new silverado. It just shows the truck driving and films some of the interior. I thought that some of you might want to see what the new trucks look like. I'm gonna have to look at and drive in person to make my descision. I wonder what the 2wd reg cabs will look like...

Will be interesting to see what dashes come with what package and seats? I really like the Tahoe / Burban dash package...but something about the old-school dash offered in the trucks is appealing. Wondering if that will be offered with buckets and center console (think I did see a picture with that a while back).

They were growing on me until I watched that.

 

I like the interior and some other things, but in the second scene when it does a drive by going up that hill It looks just like a F-150 from the rear. It sure seems to be a very luxurious truck though.

I have to say seeing the video gave me flashbacks to the chicago autoshow a few yrs back when they had the Chevy Cheyenne

Thanks Tyler, that was great. I am telling you guys. Toyota better be polishing every rough spot on that new Tundra, dotting every i and crossing every T. They will be entering the ring with the big boys in a few months and from the looks of this video and the pictures I have seen, GM is not planning on letting them take any market share from them.

The interior looks very much like a high end SUV/luxury sedan, not sure if I like that yet, may need to go sit in one. I really like the 180 degree rear doors, that's dope as he!!. The bed looks like a cross between the Nissan Titan and a F@rd. The front is a bit too square looking for me, but to each his own. I do like the badging, might see how much that runs and "re-badge" my truck, or at least the tailgate.

It looks like Chevy is finally "opening up" their packages. I find it rediculous when you HAVE to buy a package, just for a certain thing. Why cant i get a 4x4 in a 4.3L? Why cant i get a stripped down W/T with a 6.2L? I think its rediculous that you have to buy a "package" just for a certain item you want on your truck. If they would go back to what they used to be 20 years ago, where you could buy a 350 with a stick, and still have A/C, i think they'd have alot more buyers in the American World. People are just too picky..and to buy a stick these days, you literally have to buy a work truck and install everything yourself. You cant even get anything higher than a 4.3 with the 5-speed (not including the heavy duty stick...whatever it is)

I was told by my friend (who is a New chevy/gm dealer) that the crew cabs will be on the lots by november. The extended cabs and reg cabs will be arriving in Janurary. I'm really interested in seeing how the reg cab 2wd looks. If I like it I'll trade off my sierra.
