97Z71 - Fuel Filter

Hey guys,  I'm new to my truck and havn't had the chance to pick up the shop manual but I have to change the fuel filter.  Can anyone tell me where it would be on my particular truck - I think I found it on the drivers side frame rail but want to be sure.  Thanks.

That should be it, like a little canister type thing about 4 inches long or so!

Thats it!  Make sure you have a nice big rag handy to soak up all the gas that WILL come out when you disconnect the old filter.  I was pretty surprised at the amount that came out when I did mine.
