Hi there,

since 2 weeks I am running a 2004 GMC Sierra 2500HD Duramax (LB7) in Germany. As this car is only imported, there are like no spare parts available. So I searched a lot and most of the GM Dealers offering original AC Delco parts do not deliver to germany. I could get Baldwin filters (engine oil). What do you think? Guess Kennedydiesel.com is using the also... Have no clue what Baldwin stands for as a brand...

Best, Mike

I suggest contacting some of the online vendors like Kennedy, GMdieseltech, etc.... They should be able to fix you up with what you need.

baldwin filters are as good as any and better than most. check out some big rigs or good size farm tractors and i bet you will see baldwin filters on most.

Mike,

I ordered my parts from discountautoparts.com when I was in England. They ship to APO/FPO address normally within 2 weeks. I looked up there site and they listed filters by WIX FRAM ACDELCO for your GMC. Are you looking forward to October fest. I spent some time at Ramstein a few years ago.

Hey guys, first of all thank you for your help! you know, running such a brilliant car in germany is pretty hard. There is like nothing around except some "we support every us car" companies that try to squeeze money out of all the poor guys owning a not officially supported us car here in europe. Engine oil filter 50€ each!!! I dont like this so I try to get everything straight out of the uUS I really love this car and I am happy to see that there is help! ;)

mike, they already start building up the big tents for oktoberfest, you can see i on www.oktoberfest-tv.de, click on live and then on the 2nd picture ;) Thanks for the hint with discountautoparts.com, they have everything, a paradise.

I even got a reply from john kennedy of kennedydiesel.com. he will also ship!

There are a lot more online vendors who ship most would be better than that one you mentioned, in my opinion!

I feel you best bet is to try going to a place in your country that sells filters for inductrial vehicles, do not tell them wha t it is for and have them match you up a filter to the size and specs, you may end up with a lot better filter for a lot less.
