2007 Sierra

I am going to be getting a new truck sometime before January 1 2007. Diesel Requirements.

 

My question is will the new 2007 Sierra with the Duramax hit the streets before hand or am I stuck with the 2006 body style.

 

I read the press release and it didn't list it but I find it wierd that they would continue the old body style for the HD trucks when they look esentially the same.

 

I can see why Ford does it. The ugly f150 is entirely different from the 250's but the Sierra all look the same. Except maybe from underneith obviously.

The 2007s have new diesel requirements and I don't think the HDs will be out before Jan.1. Therefore, I'd buy a 2006.

In this video they show a new style 07 and from the badging on the doors looks like it is a duramax. The front end on the 2500 sierra is nice.

Man, I'm not feelin' the '07 look. It will take me a while to warm up to the it for sure. It reminds me too much of a Titan which is a nice truck but I don't want my GM to look like a Nissan. In the vid where they do a walkaround on the Silverado, the rear end looks a LOT like the Titan.

 

I'm definitely lovin' my '06.

I feel the same. looks like the offspring of a Titan and F250. But everyone thought that the Superduties looked a lot like Dodges when they came out.
