So i went to change the fuel filter this weekend done it 3-4 times now so it was nothing new what was new was when i turned on the truck it was leaking like a sieve i remember a tech article on here one time that talked about o-rings it seems that i dont have any i cant find any traces of them in the the filter and there is none on the lines i also dont remeber them there last time does anyone know what size they are dealership was no good, it seems they dont sell just the o-rings and didnt have any lines to look at but they said theyd replace my fuel line for 500$ (WTF) anyhow i really need to get this fixed and everyone on here always seems knowledable thanks for reading oh yah the kid at the parts store didnt know what to think youd of thought id asked him for a radiator cap for a vw bug hah

Collin, if it is like mine on my 02 Yuk, it has a small plastic retaining clip around the snout on the filter. They are easy to break and will cause you problems. These clips are readily avail at most any parts store. If it is threaded on both ends, I cannot help you.
