Finally finished everything on the truck!!!!

Well, folks, the trucks is totalled. Gone. Zip. Zero. Nada. I salvaged what I could, but I am truckless.

 

Until....HOPEFULLY.....next week. I found a lifted 2000 model with fender flairs in pristine condition and with all available options. It's got almost everything my other one had. I am supposed to have the check in hand for it by tuesday.....so ya'll keep hopin for me.

well....iwas in a curve....it was a small deer, probably a young doe or yearling.....and dodged, and ended up leaving the road. It's f**ked, guys. I cut the exhaust off, the nerf bars, the tool box, the CAI, the tires, and the fog lamps. I actually like the one I foulnd better.

 

so....tell me about these 5.3s. How are they??

At least your OK. I love my 5.3, good gas mileage and some decent get-up-and-go. I've owned a 4.8 also, which is more than adequate in a reg cab, but the 5.3 feels stronger through the power curve, you won't regret getting one.
