BLeeding Brakes

Hello all, I am new to this forum

 

I have a VTX 1800c motorcycle. I just bled the brake system on it and it was easy enough for a novice like me with a vaccum pump and some instructions from my VTX forum

 

I also have a 2004 GMC 1500 4.3L Pickup that I would like to do the same thing to.

 

Is the procedure the same?

Any good ol boys out there tell me if it is done the same way on my truck or maybe point me in the right direction?
