k&n fipk for 2500hd 6.0L ?

i'm thinking of dropping in the k&n fipk (pn 57-3031-1) on my truck ('05 6.0L 2500hd 4wd)...has anyone tried it and if so what should i expect? is it easy to install? is there a better product to consider (airaid)?

After reading this report done on AC filters and many more you may want to stay with the stock filter.

I chose not to go that route. I went with the airaid MIT tube for $99 and then put an Amsoil air filter in the stock box. That way it gets good filtration, and is less likely to pick up water.

Sorry guys, Im a little slow on my rocket science class at this time. I go by what gives more grunts / dollar. Airraid cold intake system is what I put on my 6 L and Duramax , love them both.
