My truck is a 2006 2500HD with the 8100 motor.

 

It says..." A condition may occur in which the engine fuel pulse damper retainer clip may fracture, resulting in inadequate retention of the damper. If the damper comes loose, a fuel leak may result and may cause a fire if an ignition source is present."

 

Anybody else get one?

I did too. Mine is a 2004 GMC 4x4 regular cab 4x4 with the 8.1 / Allison.

Yup, got one. Took it in and they replaced the clip. No big deal, easy and free.

Yes, got the letter. Have not taken in yet...waiting for a little...taking her in to get signed up for extended warranty...will have done then.
