Jerky speedometer readout?

The speedo on my rig has just today started to move real jerky. Its like it sticks at a reading, then jumps up a mph, etc etc etc as I'm accelerating.

 

If its a problem in the cluster (which I am assuming at this point) its gonna stay broken, but i was hoping someone would have another fix? Truck in sig.

Hate to break the news but yep you're goint to need a cluster, mine did it at 86K, I went ahead and upgraded to the HD cluster with the trans temp guage.

Mine did the same thing this weekend. I disconnected the battery and it went away, but came back the next day. I took The Guage Cluster out and took it apart and it was full of dust. I blew it out with the air hose and put it all back together and it hasnt done it since. Dont know if itll work for yours, but it fixed mine.
