R Dogg 56 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 2005 Ford F350 CC RB with the 6.0 PSD and TorqShift 5-speed auto. He says it's fully loaded, 4 inch lift, 20's, 35's, 4 inch exhaust from the turbo to the muffler, then a 5 inch exit tube. He just tinted it with 20% (?) on the fronts and 5% over the back window. It's chipped and tuned, so it'll move. Because he still lives in MN, he'll need the special 1 ton GVW plates: These pics are big, so here's a link to them: Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3 Pic 4 Pic 5
General Lee 01 Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Way cool! Your bro is 96Z71asskicker, correct?
Mark_in_Tulsa Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 A lifted F250 I think is one of the baddest looking trucks ever. Just looks awesome. But the best thing about Fords is, if we didn't have them, then our tools would get rusty.
Schmids5.3l Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 d**n, thats a great looking truck. Pick up any hottie in that bad boy Im not a fan of 6-0's tho.
R Dogg 56 Posted September 26, 2006 Author Posted September 26, 2006 Way cool! Your bro is 96Z71asskicker, correct? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep. Talked to him after I posted this and he says he sold the chip for $500. I don't know if his girlfriend has seen it yet, but I'm sure she'll be wanting him to install those retractable steps that tuck up into the frame when not in use. Those instead of the running boards currently on there now. BTW: The Escalade was traded off for this.
Elwood 2000 Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 If it was a long bed, I would own one. I really like the current Super Duty body design, but I am fearful of the 6.0. They claim they have the bugs worked out for '06, but who knows. I would probly own one! A friend just bought one and as soon as he bought it, went on vacation to Hilton Head Island and got 22 mpg average for the whole trip. Not bad.
R Dogg 56 Posted September 26, 2006 Author Posted September 26, 2006 R Dogg, does he still have his Z71? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep. Still sitting in the barn awaiting modification.
99silveradoz71 Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 If I had a momentary loss of sanity and was steering towards the blue oval, it'd have to be an SD as they're at least semi-tolerable in the looks category.
