Does anyone know the best way to cut my lower air deflector for installation of factory fog lights????

I don't have them yet, but want to get it ready for when they arrive ...... so I do not have any instructions yet!

I've heard that people have had good luck using a dremel tool with a small cutting disc on it.

dremel with a drill cutting bit works really good. and then some griding stones to smooth it out.

I think it does too, but I am getting OEM set on ebay that does not have it included .....

can someone measure their precut air deflector, so I don't cut-off too much or too little .....

just so i'm reading this correctly....the grey plastic air dam comes with the fog light kit?

Yes. The OEM fog lights on eBay are sold by Jennings Chevrolet in chicago and they simply do not ship the air dam with the kit because the shipping costs would be too high. I was told this by their parts department guy. I do not see any advantage to paying $ 180 something plus shipping for this set when you can go to your local dealer and get a complete kit for something like $ 220 retail, complete with the air dam.

For 2006, they changed the color of the lower trim fascia tto gray. So there is new part number fog light kit for that year.
