hour meter in every HD

I don't know if everyone knows this but... If ya push in the trip resetting stalk for about 6 seconds with the key OFF, it will display the hours the truck has run. Its a built in hourmeter.

Lots of people have been having fun with that figuring out their average miles per hour, I think its about 30mph for most people.

Not only am I one of the oldest guys here but my truck now has 1000 hrs on it.  I finally get to be the first to report something here.  But Ryan in his little 1500 doesn't have one it is only in the 2500 and 3500 trucks so until he decides to grow up he will have to do with out one or add one his self.  We have put some on truck at work it only takes about 1 hour and cost about $200.00 so Ryan there is still hope for you.

bought my silverado 1500 in march of 2000 brand new,since then i have put on 27,940 miles my hour meter is at 850.3 hours which =32.8 averge miles per hour. not to shaby:thumbs:
