Any Shooter fans?

Hey everyone! I remember posting awhile back about Shooter Jennings, the son of Waylon Jennings, and I heard some cool news about him at work at umgd so I thought I'd share. He's coming out with this live album "Live at Irving Plaza 4.18.06" this October. I've heard his first two albums and I really enjoyed them but I've NEVER had a chance to see him live and I've heard he's an amazing performer. I'm really excited to hear what he's like live, and who knows, if I like it I might be goin to one of his shows soon. I think his website www.shooterjennings.com has some more info if you're interested. Anyone been to one of his shows or heard about this album?

Hey!

 

Yea, I took my girlfriend recently to see 3 Doors Down (her favorite band) and Lynard Skynard. Shooter Jennings was the opener. I don't like country....let my rephrase. I hate country, but I was pretty impressed with him.

 

As a guitar player and fan of virtuastic guitar players (Steve Vai, John Petrucci) I kinda felt like his solos were a bit repetitive but as a whole, he put on a pretty good show.

One of my favorites and one of his most popular songs is 4th of July. Some other good ones are Put the O Back in Country, Southern Comfort and Gone to Carolina. Anyone else wanna share their favorite Shooter songs?

hell yes, after I first saw the Gone to carolina video. and heard he did some of the remix songs on the dukes of hazzard movie.

He is Awesome in concert i seen him a yera ago in town the radio station does a free all day concert and last year he was one of the performers I highly rec seeing a show if you like his music
