Somehow i don't remember some of those from my MCSE class but you can bet that i will be editing NTOSkrnl tonight

A few jobs ago, we had a salesman that wanted to be in the IT department. He thought he knew everything about computers. We wrote a little program that popped open a dialog box one morning while he was logging in, and told him that his network card was dangerously low on coolant, and to see the network administrator for more.

 

He came in, and casually asked the network admin if he had any extra coolant laying around. We hadn't told the admin about what we did, so he was totally baffled about why this guy was asking for "Network card coolant". As soon as the salesman told him what the message box said, the network admin knew immediately that we were behind it. It probably didn't help that we were all about to fall out of our chairs laughing.
