Chev4Ever Posted October 21, 2001 Posted October 21, 2001 Sweet Truck! Thats the kind of truck i dream of having one day!!! I really like the clear corners and the euro tails as well... They add a nice look to a bad @ss truck!
pacodiablo Posted October 22, 2001 Posted October 22, 2001 that is an awsome truck! did you paint the grille?
8100HD Posted October 22, 2001 Author Posted October 22, 2001 Paco, grill and bumper covers are painted, soon to come are Escalade handles and a C3 tailgait handle also painted. Thanks for the compliment.
Kansas Kid Posted October 22, 2001 Posted October 22, 2001 Now why in the heck does GM not paint those bumper caps the same color as the rest of the truck. They look so much better that way, unless the truck has black flares and accesories on it.
raventai Posted October 23, 2001 Posted October 23, 2001 8100HD nice looking truck!!! got a extended cab 2500 w/8.1/allison with the standard rims looking to go both taller and wider after I burn up the stock tires so: what size wheels and tires are u running there? how much were those wheels? and did u lift your torsion bars? it seams to sit higher in the front than mine (may be crew ext. cab diffrence?)
8100HD Posted October 23, 2001 Author Posted October 23, 2001 Raventia, Tires are 285 BF AT's on American Racing Baja's 16x8, My torsion bars are cranked up a bit. When I bought the rims they were on special for $82 each tires about $150 each. Hope this helps.
02_2500hd Posted October 23, 2001 Posted October 23, 2001 Good looking truck, very clean...maybe too clean for my taste. I kinda like the Duramax emblim on the doors. Set's it off from the gas 2500HDs gary

Hope this helps. shure dose, are they 285/75R16 right or is the sidewall higher? no clearance problems in turning I hope, and the setback is good right? reason I am asking is because those are the kind of wheel style I was looking at and that is a great price the stock wheels/tires leave the wheel well verry emty looking and a bit more height would be nice to did u get the rims locally or on line? seams the high shipping weight/cost would negate any saving u could get on line? these are the ones here?
8100HD Posted October 24, 2001 Author Posted October 24, 2001 You will need to trim your lower airdam, and maybe your inner left fender liner, not a big deal, mine rub alittle on my mudflaps but that's all, well worth the looks it gets.
RIPMF Posted October 25, 2001 Posted October 25, 2001 hmmmm guess i need to add pic to aol or yahoo to post it
chevy4x4trucks Posted October 30, 2001 Posted October 30, 2001 The truck is looking good, painting all those pieces really makes a big difference BTW you may want to check the link in your sig, it's got an extra URL tag at the end of it, just a heads up.
BDBWTE Posted April 30, 2002 Posted April 30, 2002 I like the custom paint on the truck they really make it stick out. Nice truck!
