2007 Yukon Denili Nav Problem

I just picked up my new Yukon and when I inserted the the Nav disk the display went black and in sounds like the disk is bad. My question is how can I remove the disk to get my other displays back. It looks to me to be recycling.. Help... I want to play with my car this weekend...

Sounds like you put the NAV disk in the DVD/CD Audio Slot? The NAV disk is inserted behind the display panel. You have to go to the menu screen for the NAV and there is a touch screen button for Database information....something like that anyway. You touch that and the display will lift out and rotate up so you can install the NAV disk. You can then touch the middle of the display and it will close the display and start the nav operation. Check the owners manual for clarification.
