Need some help with my 2002 HD

I need some help with my 2002 HD(Gas Engine). I got the truck about mths ago and it now just turned over 50000 miles. Now here's the problem.... I've now had two instances where I went out to start the thing and it just doesn't want to start... Almost like the battery is dead but it still illuminates the dash but will not kick the truck over. Now when this happened both times I got my jump pack out and hooked it up and then tried to start the truck. It would start but then, Unless I kept my foot on the gas a bit it would idle down and stall out. The truck will sit and idle once it stays running @ only 500 RPM which seems low to me but I have no Idea. When it is at idle the digital odometer seems to be dim and flickering but if I idle it up to about 700 RPM the flicker goes away. I had both the battery and the Alternator Load tested and they all tested ok. Can anyone please tell me what might be the issue... Do I need to adjust the idle or is it something more sinister that I'm gonna have to fix.

Jeremy I'm a Technition and this is what I think you'll find. I'm not sure but it's the first thing I'd check. Delco batterys of this vintage are well known for causing problems just like this and then load checking fine. Look really closely at the positive terminal. Is it corroded up? Is there evidence of acid leaking out at the positive terminal? If so it's the battery. The post is soldered onto the plate grid and for some really dumb reason they used a solder that corrodes away when submerged in battery acid. The worst part is it took them years to figure it out. If your battery shorts out when you crank the starter then it probably puts a intermittent dead leg on the battery when the engine is started. This would spike your altenator to full load, this could stall it and cause the lights to flicker etc.
