The TCCM in my 99 7.4L 3/4 ton suburban has a burned transister. It's a auto-trac transfer case. The TCCM has 2 plugs, a orange 32 pin and a black 4 pin. My question is what other model and year TCCM's will fit? Was there a different TCCM for 1/2 and 3/4 trucks, autotrack and non-autotrack? Thanks.

Wouldn't it be simpler to just get the correct TCCM rather than trying to fit a different model/year, etc.? What's the point of that?

My question was based purchasing a used part. The ability to have 4 wheel drive is not worth the $$$ a dealer wants for a new part.

I think the only way to know for sure is to find the correct part number then cross reference that to see what other year/models call for that same number. You'll need a helpful parts guy for this.
