Looking at new truck(Need Advice)

Well. Been checking lately and seeing gm offering rebates on silverados. In the NE you get 6000 off ext cab and 5500 off crew cab

Found a dealer with a blue LT1 1500 4wd Crew Dark Blue/ Dark Charcoal

5.3 flex fuel with 3.73 , off road pkg, lt1 decor, HD Trailering equip. Went to dealer to take peek. They added a spray in bedliner. (Dealer is notorious for adding extras) and a LOGO Pkg (99 bucks, dont know what this BS)

Well basically looking to upgrade from a 2004 1500 W/T 4x4 with 55,300 on it. My truck has the 4.8 so no flex fuel.

Anybody know what kind of pricing i should get on this.

my guess is you should be able to get them to knock another $1500-2000 off of it.

A fair price? Whatever they tell you is the lowest and subtract a few thousand. Thats what I did. Dealer wanted 19000 and I talked them to 15 Tax & Title. Its pretty easy actually, just tell them what your willing to pay (usually much less than they want) and they can take it or leave it. The dealer called me back a few days later and said 15 flat would work.

Before I got this truck I was looking at a 03 Dodge Rumble bee 1500 (glad I didnt get it) reg cab short bed fake hemi, with about 18000 miles. They wanted 30 (MSRP was around 30) I talked them to 19500 not including T&T. Insurence estimate was rediculous, but its ok, now I have something that can keep up with one, looks hella better, and was less cash. Plus who wants a Dodge?!
