rear end "wiggle"?

Hi all,

 

I'm new here, just found the site and looks like it will be extremely helpful for me as I go through this 1995 GMC Safari van I have. I'm doing something very unique to it (I'll try and fill ya' all in on that later) and will be driving it a fairly long distance for the first time. Problem is, I've had this strange problem when I make a slow, sharp turn... only way I can describe it is it feels like the whole rear of the van just sort of wiggles slightly. Can a u-joint going bad have this effect? Of maybe there something going on with the differential? Any advice would be much appreciated.

A couple of suggestions:

 

Limited slip might be ratcheting if you have it - perhaps a gear oil change might help with that

or

Low tire pressure on one side.

or

Bad Tire - slipped belt, could try rotating the front's to the back and see if it makes a difference.

 

Sounds like it'll be a little trial and error troubleshooting it.
