cylinder heads

a guy told me that putting perfomance cylinder heads on my 98 sierra 5.7 liter vortec motor would give a ton more power, im wondering if theres more that id need to do than that, and what else would you recomend? where are there cylinder heads and other performance parts for my motor?

Not sure which heads he was talking, but you'd also need a bigger cam, probably a fair amount of machining on the intake, reworked injection system, headers and exhaust to make use of the higher flow heads. Figure it'll cost bare minimum $2500, and more if you want to do it right.
