Almost had my first Dmax

Well, I almost had my first oil burner. I started looking a few months ago for a 8.1l and found it very difficult to find a used one w/ Lbed Ex cab. I opened it up to the Dmax and my dealer found me an '03 in Mich at another dealer (we are in western Pa). It was a 2500hd w/ 49k miles and almost all of the stuff I was looking for. The dealer told me he could put me in it for around 25,500 and I said go for it after seeing pics from the dealer in Mich. Seemed good to me. They got the truck in on Wed and sent it through Service (filters and fluids, also needed brakes and rotors to pass inspection), Fri it went to detail and Sat I went with a check in my pocket to pick up my new truck.

Needless to say, this horse was whipped. The bed had had a 5er and it looked like it was removed with an air chisel and a grinder, about 8 7/8ths holes and two with bolts broken off in them. Also dented and touchup paint, really dented. I know a farm truck when I see one. Needless to say I didn't get it. I am REALLY disappointed.

If anyone is selling a 4x4 Dmax Long Bed Xcab with G80, or even an 8.1l, let me know. I don't want to spend more than 25k

If you get a copy of the Farm and Dairy newspaper, you can get them at tractor supply stores or check online here, they usually have a bunch of pre-owned diesels. I found the listed ones there.
