ABS light

My ABS light came on a couple of weeks ago. Life's been busy and I didn't have a chance to pull out my scanner until this morning.

I put it on the truck and it comes back with no codes.

Is there some other process to get the ABS codes out of the truck and figure out what the problem is? I guess I just assumed they'd pop up under OBDII, but that apparently isn't the case.

BTW, the light is on most of the time, but it does go out occassionally. Every once in awhile the Brake indicator light comes on too.

I'm suspecting a corroded wheel sensor or something along those lines, but I'd like to at least know what wheel to take apart first...

You'll probably need a Tech II or comparable scan tool to see the ABS codes.

Thanks. I did some further searching on the board and that seems to be the consensus. What a PITA.

I guess I'll try cleaning up all four sensors first and check for shorts/broken wires. I need to rotate the tires before winter anyhow, I guess.
