Caddy claims 405 hp where gmc claims 380 hp in denali, where is the 25hp?

The brochure I got from the GMC dealer where I bought my Denali truck said 403Hp. It is supposed to be the same engine/trany combo that the Escalade trucks have in them. The new 08' corvette supposedly has this same engine in it with different heads on it.

Then we have a problem Houston, please check again on your brochure. I have an 08 Denali as well. GM advertises 380 HP on the Denali.

GMC states the Yukon Denali 6.2L at 380 HP and the Sierra Denali 6.2L at 403HP. Maybe be either a slight cam difference or the exhaust? Maybe just the computer?

Ahhhh... Thanks kutu. Yeah, mine is an 07' Sierra Denali... and 2wd which is very rare. Most of them are AWD.
