High Idle Code 35

[CRATE 572]

When the engine is cold I have to press the gas slightly

or it won't start and keep on the gas for about 10 secs

or it will stall. After that it will idle at 1000 and when warmed

up it sets code 35 IACV error. The pintle on the valve was

staying seated in the throttle body at start up and when hot.

I also found a leak at the base gasket. I had a complete

TBI unit off of a good running parts truck and installed

it and a new gasket. It made no change, the truck runs the

same and I checked for vaccum leaks at the gasket, manifold,

and hoses. I'm sorry about the length of this post but I could

really use some help.
