90 r3500 hydraboost

My hydraboost went bad and put in a new one.It seemed to be th esame as the old one as far as the eye can see.Well got it in an dnow the brake pedal is only 2 inches off the floor.Brakes seem to work an dno drag but cannot get the pedal back the way it was.

Did I get a bad part or is there an adjustment I am missing? Does not seem to be any on th ecable that hooks to the brake pedal

There's no pedal height adjustment that I'm aware of, but 1990 was a long time ago and it may have been different back then. I certainly can't remember.

did you check if the rod from the hydro to brake pedal is the same length as the old hydro???
