gmc electronic transmission

Ok, I know not many converting from electronic to vacuum.

I have an 1994 GMC 1500 ex. cab, 9.5" lift, 4" body lift. This is mainly a play truck,

I had a built 1976 corvette motor that replaced the stock motor. Yes it's carbed not

injected. The truck runs awesome, plenty power with 40" tires using 4.88 gears. My only problem being the transmission. Since the computer is virtually not being used and the transmission being electronic shift I have a definate problem. Not really sure how to go about this fix. Pretty sure no way to convert to vacuum shift points, is my only option to change out carb,distributor, back to stock?? I would then obviously have tuning problems regaurding AFR, since new motor is bored, cammed etc. I really like the current performance of motor ,just want to have a shifting transmission. Is there any way to get the electronic trans to shift with this setup??
