I am gathering supplies to build my box for two 10" subs to downfire beneath my back bench. The box is going to be made out of MDF. has anyone done anything unique for covering a box? i have the dark charcoal leather seats and i would really like for the box to blend in with that....perhaps color matched vinyl?

Duplicolor spray-on bed liner worked for me. Quick, easy and durable.

Going to throw this out there, mainly because this is what I want to do when I rebuild my boxes. What about carbon fiber or even diamond plate look-alike vinyl? It wouldn't blend in with your seats but it could look pretty kick-***.

If not, you could always go get some vinyl from a upholstery shop.

I'd like to find something as well - looking for a charcoal or "dark pewter" carpet that mostly matches the factory carpet. I've found spray-on fuzzy stuff, but I'd prefer carpet. Does anybody have a source for this stuff?

Look for scraps from carpet stores or installers, although if you find some you better be pretty good with glueing carpet, other wise it looks like crap. Ask how I know...

Ive found online sources for installer supplies, but none have the carpet I'm looking for - none have any carpet, as a matter of fact.

Does anyone have a source for installer's carpet for covering enclosures?
