Headlight adjustments

I have a 2003 Silverado Ext Cab. I used a leveling kit to raise my front end 2" and now I want to re-aim my headlights so they don't blind opposing traffic. I checked my owners manual and couldn't find anything that shows headlight adjustments. Is there a way to point the headlights lower? Thanks

I cannot think of any passenger car or truck that would not have headlight aiming provisions. There will be a separate screw for vertical and horizontal adjustment on each headlight, probably in the back of it.

On the top of the headlights there is a external torq bit fitting that has a regular torx fitting in the middle Kind of hard to explain, but when you see it you will understand). That is where you adjust it.

if you dont have a star/ torx socket, use a 7mm.

worked excellent! the factory adjustment was off since day 1, the driver side always shined lower, was annoying when driving seeying an un even beam. Is there anyway to adjust the beam horizontal?

I don't think there is, because of the way the headlights are put in. If you pull out the slide bar on top and lean it foward you will see what I mean.

yea ive had the headlights in and out multiple times allready (installed the high beam kit, and then new bulbs, then forgot to take pics of high beam kit, lol so ive seen how they go in :) there still should be a adjustment tho for horizontal. unless they no longer want you to have control of your own lights....

Yes, there is. It's on the other end of the unit. It's a little bit hidden, but it's there allright. So (this depends on the side of the car...), left is for horizontal, right is for vertical.

Very nice truck, btw.
