engine misfire code P0353

I am new to this board so please bear with me. It has some very interesting reading and ideas. The engine light came on my 02 avalanche 5.3. The engine was running a bit rough on idle. a few days later the light went out. A friend hooked up his scanner and this code was on. What should I be looking into or replacing on the engine

Unplug the connector on the rail that the coils mount on. Look at the female terminals very close and look for any that are spread open causing an open circuit. Also, you might want to lift the under-hood relay box and check for rodent damage to the wires. That is a very common problem, believe it or not. You will have to remove the bracket in the left rear corner.
